Anne O’Dea – eco tour guide with Naturewise Eco Escapes

Anne O’Dea: regular eco tour guide – and resident turtle expert

At Naturewise Eco Escapes we are very lucky to have so many talented and experienced staff and eco tour guides who assist us with our wildlife conservation projects around Australia. Getting outdoors, helping wildlife, the unique opportunity for close-up wildlife experiences, stunning locations, and making new friends are just some of the reasons mentioned by our staff when we ask them why they love leading our tours. In this article we introduce you to Anne, our eco tour guide on our upcoming sea turtle experience in Broome.

Anne O’Dea has over 25 years’ experience in natural and cultural resource management in Australia and overseas. Her extensive experience includes running research and monitoring programs, volunteer engagement, education, interpretation, and training. Anne has many interesting stories to share having spent time working in National Parks including Fraser Island in Queensland, the jointly managed Kakadu National Park in the Northern Territory, and more recently in Papua New Guinea. She also featured in the ABC television series “Kakadu”.

If you join our annual Sea Turtle Experience tour at Eco Beach in November or December this year, you can meet our eco tour guide Anne in person. The 4-day tour departs Broome on 29 November and 7 December 2017.
