Wildlife Conservation

Your eco holiday will make a real and positive difference to wildlife conservation in Australia

Our eco holidays help protect wildlife and their habitats in some of Australia’s most unique and beautiful places. We are owned by Australia’s leading not-for-profit, private conservation organisation – Conservation Volunteers Australia. Since 1982 we have had hundreds of thousands volunteers help us from around Australia and across the globe. Today, over 10,000 volunteers each year help to deliver long-term, sustainable and measurable conservation outcomes.

Our practical hands-on approach to conservation means we remove marine debris, regenerate local habitats for wildlife, control pests and weeds, undertake wildlife research, maintain conservation fences, tracks and trails, and activate threatened species recovery.

Our contribution to protecting and enhancing Australia’s natural environment is extensive. Each year over 1.3 million volunteer hours support our on-the-ground conservation programs – helping to conserve Australia’s unique wildlife and their habitats.

In the past twelve months, through your support, we have

  • Planted over 1,000,000 trees
  • Collected 1,292 tonnes of rubbish
  • Maintained and established 800 km of tracks
  • Collected over 2 tonnes of native seeds
  • Delivered 2,383 wildlife and environmental surveys.

We offer eco-tours, eco accommodation experiences, or more active hands-on adventures – whatever you select, you will be supporting important conservation efforts across Australia.
